Our Story

It was clear that there was an unmet need in the marketplace. Customers wanted a personalized, relevant and uniform customer experience. Businesses were looking for new ways to grow revenues, improve margins and manage their businesses more efficiently

Business applications based on proximity technology were emerging, creating endless possibilities for workforce management, logistics and customer engagement solutions

Intrigued by the growing demand for new innovative solutions, Netclearance Systems, Inc. developed proprietary technology and software to meet customers’ demand and developed new proximity and engagement solutions across multiple industries

Albert-Hugo Martinez

Mr. Hugo-Martinez brings over 45 years of management experience in the electronics industry to his position as board member for Netclearance .  He currently holds positions as a board member of iBoss Cybersecurity; REALSTIR, zenith of realty dialoque; and mobileworks.com, creators of a platform that enables work anywhere, at any time.  He has served as chairman of Reaction Design, an alternative fuel simulation company, which was sold to ANSYS.  He was chairman of RAMTRON a volatile memory company that was sold to Cypress Semiconductor.  Previously he served as CEO of AMCC, a mixed signal telecommunications semiconductor company.  He was CEO of GGTI, an ISDN / ADSL company, with 8000 employees in China, 3000 in the Philippines and 2000 in the United States.  Mr. Hugo-Martinez was instrumental in GGTI being acquired by Pulse Electronics.  For 24 years he served on the board of Microchip and has also served on the boards of ON Semiconductor and AMKOR, a manufacturing company.  He began his career as a technician at Motorola rising to the position of Director of Linear products before his departure.  He continued his ascent to become COO of Burr Brown Research, an analog semiconductor company, where he negotiated and opened plants in Livingston, Scotland and Atsugi, Japan.  Mr. Hugo-Martinez holds an MSEE from the University of Arizona and a Motorola-sponsored two-year executive MBA management program.

 

Tom O'Neill

Dr. O'Neill is supporting business development efforts in Netclearance Systems. Tom was CEO of Cluster Wireless, which developed M2M device middleware, 2011 through 2015. From 2008 through 2011, Tom served as CTO for Skysurf Communications Canada which developed solutions for passenger internet connectivity in Canadian airspace. From 2002 to 2008, Tom was Vice President for Business Development for Qualcomm, with activities in Africa and Southern Asia. He originally began at Qualcomm in it fledging chipset division, QCT, in 1995, and became Vice President for integrated circuits development programs.  Prior to joining Qualcomm, Dr. O'Neill was a Director at US WEST Advanced Technologies in Boulder, Colorado. And before US WEST, Tom was employed at several semiconductor processing companies. Tom has a doctorate from MIT, and Master's and Bachelor's engineering degrees from UC Berkeley, and UC San Diego, respectively.  He also holds an MBA from UCSD.

 

David Hind

Mr. Hind currently is an EVP at Mobile Inc. and serves on several boards in San Diego. Known to his friends as a coach and team builder, Mr. Hind is a highly-regarded, well-connected Telecom Executive with proven operational, financial and business development experience. He was CFO of the QUALCOMM / Sony of Japan joint venture that launched CDMA devices into marketplace in the late 1990's. David then went to Beijing and built the QUALCOMM China team, resulting in the first 25 million subscribers added to CDMA network. Upon returning from China, David took on Global Business Development, which concentrated on cost reduction of devices, which resulted in increased sales of world mobile devices. Mr. Hind is also an expert in the world of the Internet of things (IoT).

Robert Wilson

Mr. Wilson is an executive with broad experience across the consumer products and retail sectors. He has held executive roles at Market6, Seagrams, Del Monte, Frito-Lay and Planet U, the mobile coupon pioneer. He is currently the CFO for a private firm. Mr. Wilson holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College

Chris Jones

Mr. Jones is a technologist and innovator with expertise in software modeling and in Big Data analytics. He completed his postdoctoral work as a researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory and has his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Jones is currently responsible for algorithm and data modeling at ID Analytics

Robert Nascenzi

Mr. Nascenzi has successfully led both start-ups and mid size firms and has a strong operations and strategy background. Mr. Nascenzi has held executive roles at Claritas, Equifax, and TargusInfo, and was most recently the CEO at NLiven Systems. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
